The Body Shop
The very first ‘The Body Shop’ store was opened in 1976 in Brighton, on the south coast of England by Anita Roddick. By 1978, a kiosk in Brussels became the first overseas franchise. And by 1982 new shops were opened at the rate of two per month. Today, ‘ The Body Shop is present in several cities of the world and is a household name. They are presently a part of the L’Oreal Group although they retain their individual identity.
Body moisturizers, body butter, body scrubs, bath salts, moisturizers, cleansers, toners, hair styling shampoos and conditioners are available. In addition, they have a vast range of make up products for the eyes, lips and the face in exciting shades and colours. Their products are made using cocao butter, aloe, hemp, seaweed, Vitamin C & E extracts, and other botanical extracts.
