If you love classic pottery designs like many of us, Kripal Kumbh in Jaipur offers exquisite options in authentic blue pottery. Kripal Singh Shekhawat from Mau in Rajasthan is well known for reviving the art of blue pottery. His innovative work has a lot to contribute to the art of blue pottery we see today.

He was awarded with the “Padma Shri” in 1974 and also honoured with the title “Shilp Guru” by the Indian government in 2002.

When you visit his workshop in Bani Park, Jaipur, you will certainly want to pick up a beautiful vase or tiles with animal drawings on them. Today, the blue pottery from his workshop are sold all over the world and displayed at many museums too. These include the National Gallery of Modern Arts (New Delhi), Lalit Kala Academy (New Delhi), and National Museum (New Delhi), along with numerous other places.
