Tokree Products
In our review of Jaipur shops, we went up a rickety flight of stairs, inside the Alsisar Haveli hotel courtyard in Jaipur, is Tokree (meaning basket). The shop appears as if it is perched on a tree top. The Alsisar Haveli and the Mandawa Haveli hotel, close by, are Heritage Hotels in Jaipur, close to the MI road.
Samyukta Singh, who is the founder of Tokree, opened her first store in Ranathambore in Rajasthan.
One can shop for ethnic salwar kameez, palazzo pants and shararas which are available in a variety of summer colours. They are elegantly tailored and look ideal for an evening party. Potter around the store and you will find scarves and furnishings with block prints, antique boxes, brass items, candle stands, puppets & blue pottery.
It is a nice little Jaipur shop for Rajasthani handicrafts.
