Kay, which has been rebranded, has a swank outlet on Cathedral Road. It is just the shop for fashionable party wear and wedding wear outfits. They have three floors and a basement, There are Moksha and Signora shops closeby selling similar dresses. It is a good idea to see check out all the shops.

Anarkali Dresses & Party Wear salwar Kameez

They have a good selection of ready to wear salwar kameez and anarkali suits. The dresses are all heavily worked ones with sequins, stones, zardosi and embroidery work. They look very festive and dressy.

The Anarkali dresses never went out of fashion. In addition, you can shop for semi stitched salwar kameez fabrics, ready made casual wear kurtis, both long and short ones. The average cost is around Rs. 20000/piece. The casual wear dresses would be in the Rs. 2500/piece on an average. There are plenty of designs and colours to choose from.

 Bridal Lehengas Cholis & Sarees

The wedding wear lehenga cholis are available in a variety of designs. Heavy Lehengas,ideal for the bride have heavy gotta, zardozi or stone work. Each could weigh 20 kgs. There are some lighter ones that are available. The one piece gown is also in fashion. There are several designs to choose from. Sleeveless dresses, dresses with three quarter sleeves and full sleeves in some of the most beautiful colors and gold or silver thread work are available in Kay. The average cost would be Rs 30000/piece.

Sarees with heavy embroidery and sequins work are also available in georgette, chiffon and crepe. The ground floor has a stock of Tussar and silk sarees. They have a good collection of Ready made blouses in silk and grand Benasri fabrics. Kay is a popular shop for Indian party wear dresses in Chennai.

Kay has several branches in Chennai. Some of the branches stock ethnic clothes for children and men as well. There is separate shop for Kids wear, nearby on Cathedral Road. They have branches in Triplicane, Pursaiwalkam and in the Vijaya Mall.
