Made of raw leathers – often-camel leather, this traditional footwear with a pointed front were worn by the royals, studded with real gold and gems. They turn comfortable only after use. Pashmina shalws & stoles from Kashmir, Kulu caps & woolen caps from Himachal Pradesh, silver filigree work from Odisha, wood carvings & cotton durries from South India and chiken work kurtas from Lucknow are all available here. You can walk around, check the prices & bargain. Look out for traditional bangles, beaded necklaces, bracelets & belts.

There is a variety of street food that is available. Hot paratas, chana baturas, idly, doasa & chinese noodles & momos are some of them. You can also buy pickles, pappads, tea & and an assortment of digestives made from raw mango and tamarind.

The INA shopping Market, which is famous for fresh food, imported cheese, breakfast cereals, meat & fresh food is just across Dilli Haat. Dilli haat is value for money and the best Delhi shopping market in Delhi for tourists. Entry is by ticket.
